Greetings, my name is Ali Sutherland. I am a Mother, Grandmother, Medicine woman and Kaitiaki of this beautiful place where I live in the Ōtaki gorge. I get great pleasure from living with the rhythms of nature, drawing on the wisdom of our ancestors and the elements for guidance to live a natural and intuitive based existence. My love of the natural world has brought me to a place of deep relationship with plants and I am passionate about bringing this connection and healing to others. My learning journey thus far has included time with wise women/men, students and clients, academic study in, Western herbal medicine, Rongoā Māori, Reiki, pharmacy and most importantly lots of time connecting with plants and medicine making. I love to hold space at my beautiful property for others to experience the magic of connection to nature.
